Freezing Fresh Corn

After shucking wash corn and while it is still wet microwave in small batches for about one minute per ear.  Eight ears = eight minutes.  You will appreciate this step in the winter when your corn still taste fresh.  After it cools,  cut it off the ears and package in freezer storage bags, label, and freeze.
