Hatbox quilt


This combination applique and patchwork quilt called "Where's My Hat?" was designed by Linda Cordel Wilke from Mathis, Texas; quilted by Dana Goyer, and was on display at the Dallas quilt celebration this past weekend.

My first quilts. Circa 1985







I made one quilt for each of my kids in 1985, after that my sewing machine stayed busy making household items and crafts for the next 15 years until I made my third quilt entirely by hand for my daughters college graduation.

Flavin Glover - Patchwork into Log







I took several classes at the Houston Quilt Show. Below are pictures of the caribbean theme quilt top I'm still working on from Flavin Glover's class called Patchwork into Log. Flavin intergrates Log Cabin logs with traditional patchwork block patterns.

Granny Crutchfields quilts




As far as I know, I am the only remaining living descendant from my Great Grandmother and Grandmother Crutchfield that still quilts. I am fortunate enough to have inherited two of their quilts for my collection.
