Mystery books with twisted endings

There is a holiday weekend coming up. It's a great time for reading a mystery with a totally twisted ending! Here are three of my favorites. The Mangrove Coast by Randy Wayne White.

Funeral Food by Kathleen Taylor (also known as The Missionary Position). My all time favorite however is, Uncommon Clay by Margaret Maron. Enjoy!

Granny Crutchfields quilts

As far as I know, I am the only remaining living descendant from my Great Grandmother and Grandmother Crutchfield that still quilts. I am fortunate enough to have inherited two of their quilts for my collection.

Fresh Corn for supper tonight - and it's organic!

Bufffaloe brought me 3 dozen ears of corn this morning. It's fresh organic grown "Peaches and Cream" corn. I fixed eight for dinner ( okay - some is to snack on later ) the rest are already blanched, packaged and in the freezer. Yum!! Buffaloe has a greener thumb than I.... but I can sprout seeds better than him for the spring and fall garden transplants.

Green Organic Pest Control

I am trying different methods of green organic methods for pest control in my garden. This is my very own pest control warrior garden gnome.

Greetings!! I love quilts and mystery books. This is a photo of niece Janet and the quilt named Gluten Free I made for her recent wedding shower. Looks like her mom - Shirley and her Grandma are the most surprised.
