Saving a thrift store blue jean jacket with applique.

I don't have much use for a classic blue jean jacket with a Hooters logo,  but I couldn't pass it up for $2.50.

Added letters to the back of a swim shirt for grandson.  Remember to cut your templates backwards!

Back to school applique

Found a Skort at Target for $2.40!  On a $3.00 Walmart shirt I appliqued a similar motif from the skort.  Cute outfit for granddaughter for less than $6.

Similar Blocks - Applique Placement

Having 25 identical blocks,  I taped off the measurement of the block with painters tape then I taped an old ziplock bag over the top and put the first block in with the correct placements.  I traced the placement on the outside of the bag with a marker and slipped in each the remaining blocks.
