Nearby in Hondo, Texas we are lucky enough for Arlene Ryan pictured cutting fabric to visit our town once a week ( on Mondays near the grain towers by the railroad tracks ) with her super bus called Roadrunner Fabrics. Arlene and her husband equipped this bus with everything a quilter could need. She visits a different rural town every day of week . Thanks, Arlene.

Hi there
ReplyDeleteThis is a great post and I like your apron too. I linked to your blog and this story from my blog. Love to see you over there sometime.

Very cool. I've never heard of a traveling quilt store. Great post. And great traveling quilt store. Oh, how I can think of so many places that would have to have her visit their community. Thanks for sharing insights about this traveling quilt store...and I hope to someday be able to visit her store. Delightful!
